Vincent grew up an extremely quiet and painfully shy child, very much an introvert. He always had a vivid imagination and dreamed of being a professional baseball player or a movie star……and this is exactly where the comedy comes in. While in college studying business, he saw an ad for talent show. He put together a terrible few minutes of stand-up comedy and threw it out there to 300 drunk college students…..got a few laughs…..he was disqualified…..and to make a long story short, the rest is history.
JUST PLAIN FUNNY! is a phrase used to describe his unique style. He writes with intelligence that is artful blend of social satire and self-deprecating observations about growing up in a big family and his modern day life now. Many comedy fans have assumed he was from the east coast because of his fast paced tenacity……but it has a west coast wit and sensibility. There is an edge….but there is always a message in the madness. It’s this delightfully edgy blend of “loveable, intelligent, sarcasm and cynicism” that has keeps audiences laughing no matter where he performs.

His stand up gained national recognition from several television appearances including: Comedy Central’s Make Me Laugh and A&E’s An Evening at the Improv, HBO’s Loco Slam, USA’s Up All Night, Si’Tv’s “Funny is Funny”, Entertainment Tonight and many more. His CD’s “DERAINDAMAGED” and “Verbal Vigilante” as well as his DVD “Vin Shui” have received enormous praise and are played regularly on XM and Sirius Satellite radio.
